Villa Bécassière is a 4-star holiday home, officially rated in 2023, perfect for a holiday with family or friends in Vendays-Montalivet. Nestled in a peaceful setting on the edge of the forest, on a large 1,500 m² plot surrounded by oak trees, it is located in the Pey-Mayan district, less than 10 minutes from the beaches and market of Montalivet. The ocean is just 7 km away, and cycle paths are 300 meters from the property. The holiday home was completely renovated in 2023.

Charming cottage in Vendays-Montalivet, between forest and ocean

An ideal situation for relaxing with family or friends

  • This two-story house is located in the peaceful Pey-Mayan neighborhood of Vendays-Montalivet, 7 km from the beach. A cycle path leading to the ocean is accessible 300 m away. We can put you in touch with a bicycle rental company to help you make the most of your vacation. Available for rent from Saturday to Saturday in July and August, and for a minimum of two nights outside of the summer season, this fully renovated and furnished house, decorated in a contemporary style, sits on a fenced plot of 1500 m².

  • It offers a clean, modern wooden interior. The ground floor comprises a spacious living room, a dining room seating 10, a second living room with a fireplace and television area, a fully equipped kitchen, and two bedrooms with king-size beds (180 cm) and air conditioning, furnished with new bedding and 27 cm thick mattresses. The bathroom features a large walk-in shower.

  • The floor has two air-conditioned bedrooms: one with two 90cm beds (new 30cm mattress) convertible into a 180cm king-size bed, the other with a 160cm bed and a 20cm latex mattress, separable into two 80cm beds, an extra 80cm bed for a child in the dormitory room.

  • An office, a children's play and television area, as well as a sofa bed for two people complete this floor (locked if the occupants are not declared upon arrival).

Comfortable and bright accommodation

  • The woodcock lodge is comfortable and bright, with many French doors opening onto the outside.

  • At the rear of the house, facing south, is a large covered terrace equipped with a barbecue and a large table, overlooking a spacious garden planted with magnificent oak trees and bordered by the forest. A large wooden picnic table is available under the large oak tree, perfect for enjoying your evenings.

  • It is also equipped with a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

Terms and conditions

  • The house is rented for a maximum of 8 people and includes: ground floor + first floor - 4 bedrooms - 2 bathrooms

  • Linen for 8 people (sheets, cotton gauze duvet cover and bath/hand towels) with each change request: €120

  • End-of-stay cleaning: €100

  • +€30/person/night for groups of 9 or more, with a maximum capacity of 10 people (2 double beds 180cm, 1 double bed 160cm, 2 single beds 90cm, 1 sofa bed 140cm, 1 extra child's bed 80cm)

  • 5% discount for rentals of 2 weeks or more

  • 10% discount for rentals of 4 weeks or more

  • Pets are accepted on request (small dogs with a supplement of €50/pet) and an additional security deposit of €100 is required for the condition of the house.

  • Tourist tax: €2.24 per person per night (to be updated according to new 2026 CDC rates)

  • Rental agreement sent by email (to be signed and returned within the deadlines indicated in the agreement) with a 25% deposit upon booking by bank transfer (non-refundable) - balance due upon arrival

  • Cancellations must be made at least 14 days before the arrival date.

  • Digital deposit €1,000

  • Cleaning deposit - condition of the house (interior and exterior) - €150 - The house must be left clean

  • The Villa Bécassière gîte is registered with the Town Hall and the Tourist Office of Montalivet

  • Parties prohibited

  • Free Wi-Fi (fiber optic), illegal downloads prohibited
