WHO ARE WE ?
Our approach
We are Corine and Raphaël, the proud owners of the ocean cabins in Montalivet, in the Médoc region of Gironde. Originally from Créon in the Southwest, we decided to move to the coast in 2011. Montalivet was our dream destination in the Médoc; this seaside resort remains unspoiled, and despite its popularity with tourists, it's still a family-friendly holiday destination close to nature. Nature is a constant presence in our activities: fishing, surfing, walks in the forest, running, mountain biking, and yoga on the beach and in the woods.
Corine manages the ocean cabins and remains your main point of contact. She will send you the booking contract by email and all the necessary payment information. Feel free to contact her by phone or WhatsApp, as she speaks English and Spanish. Corine will welcome you and provide all the information you need for a dream vacation. If you're nice, she might even book a restaurant for you on the evening of your arrival :)

A haven of peace 300m from the ocean in Montalivet
We had our wooden house built in Montalivet in 2012; The Zen Ocean Cabin and the Ocean Cottage were built by Raphaël in 2020. Inspired by the surrounding landscape, the first Ocean Cabins were designed to make your stay unforgettable, comfortable and invigorating, on the edge of the pine forest of the Flamand state forest, located in Montalivet beach.
The cabins, built of wood and on stilts in the coastal sand dunes, come in several styles: the cottage combines elegance and modern design, the four-sided wooden house evokes a fisherman's cabin, and the Zen cabin offers rustic charm while guaranteeing optimal comfort, all on the edge of the forest. Each cabin has a private entrance.
An ideal location for a stay on foot or by bike
The beach huts enjoy an ideal location in Montalivet Plage, just 500 meters from the market and the main street, which is lined with restaurants, ice cream parlors, shops, a bakery, a newsagent/tobacconist, a supermarket, and a pharmacy. The neighborhood is peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the market. Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, the beach huts offer a tranquil environment with very little noise and traffic, and parking is easy and free. From the house, everything is within walking distance: the market, the beach, restaurants, shops, the Spar mini-market at the end of the street, and the Aldi supermarket 1 km away.
The residential area is exceptionally peaceful, and the atmosphere on our property is relaxing, in harmony with nature thanks to the Flamand state forest located just 50 meters away, which offers direct access to the sea a 300-meter walk. It's a perfect location for surfers, who can reach the ocean with their surfboards in hand. Bus stops 500 meters away provide service to Lesparre, Bordeaux, and Soulac (ocean campsite stop), and the Vélodyssée (trans-European cycle route) as well as the Camino de Santiago are also 50 meters away.

Villa Bécassière
The villa is located in the peaceful Pey-Mayan neighborhood, just 7 km from the ocean, away from the hustle and bustle of the seaside resort. A cycle path leading to Montalivet is accessible 300 m from the villa. This typical Landes house, fully renovated in 2023 by Raphaël, features a warm, wood-paneled interior. Rated 4 stars, it offers quality amenities, and its upper floor is ideal for families or groups of friends, with a total capacity of 10 people and an extra bed for a child.
The Curlew's Chalet
The latest addition is a wooden chalet on stilts, built by Raphaël in 2023. Perfect for two couples or a family with two children, this chalet combines comfort and elegance. Its spacious grounds create a sensation of floating above the greenery.
